I am originally from Radville, Saskatchewan, Canada.  After 18 years growing up on the farm, I hi-tailed it to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, enrolled at WABC radio school.  I got my first "on-air" job on January 11, 1981. Interestingly enough, the picture to your left was taken January 11. 2005.  I am drinking to my brother on his birthday.  Unfortunately, he wasn't in Cuba at the time.

I started building guitars in 1995.  I had hit a 15 year radio career wall.  My wife graciously allowed me to attend a 10 week course at Timeless Instruments.  There, under the tutelage of David Freeman, I received my education and certificate in Lutherie.  This course was only the beginning of a journey that is still moving.

I am still employed in the radio Industry.  I am a senior sales account Manager for CKGY and ZED 99 Radio in Red Deer.  Radio is an industry that has had me live in all 4 western Provinces.  It is one of those jobs where I have been able to meet and speak with my musical heroes.

As my education in lutherie continues, I will add to this site.  As you know, it is a never ending story.

Cheers!
